Thank You

Postby sportsfreaked » Tue Mar 31, 2015 8:28 pm

I just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful folks on here who have helped me with my bike. I have replaced both tires, rebuilt the front forks, did the front brakes, replaced my speedo, and other things along the way. This old (51), and yes I am old, my body reminds every morning that I shouldn't be doing this sh**, has been able to do this with the help of the good folks on here.

I plan to tackle the timing belts and replace the coolant and hoses while I am at it. I'm sure I will have more questions in the future so please don't shoot me or block me or tip me over  Thanks again to everyone who make this a great site to learn and share stories about our kids.

Thanks to all who answer and help. It is greatly appreciated!

When you change those other things check out the link below. You can find parts right up the street!
At 52 next week I hear those bones creaking too-but Advil helps:)

all you young whippersnappers complaing about being old at 50 plus -

What happens if you are older - you forget how old you are and keep enjoying being on the right side of the grass. :D

This is true but I am a lot older then 51. I think my body parts were from a garage sale :) . I have RA and degenerative joint disease and have gone thru 4 back surgeries (entire lumbar fused), 4 right knee surgeries then a knee replacement, 2 elbow surgeries, and numerous steroid and other injections as well as back end surgery. The eat a apple a day keeps the doctor away is BS. I eat apples everyday and it seems to bring me doctors :).
