Aftermarket source for '81 1100 coils

Postby reb54 » Mon Apr 27, 2015 9:03 pm

Both of my coils are cracked and do not like any riding in the rain. What is a good source for aftermarket coils? Not really interested at this time in the Neon conversion. I just want to buy some coils from a reliable source and start riding again. I have replaced my plug wires and caps.

Thanks.

Randal, I see you're in Carrollton, L&L Motorcycle Salvage on Lamar east of downtown has several old Wings there. You could pull the coils off, take wires and all and it wouldn't cost too much. Take 30 to Lamar, go east about 1/3 a mile past Corinth. On the North side of the street.

You can use gl1500 coils. Plenty of these pretty cheap. More fire power to the plugs.
