Thank god I own a Goldwing. It's my only mode of transportation at the moment. I registered my 1993 Harley Dyna Lowrider on May 21, only to loose the engine on May 25. Sheared off the pinion gear that turns the cam. Partially covered under warranty from last years rebuild, but still gonna be about $2500 to get it done. I then decided it was time to reregister my 1996 Saturn on June 11, wouldn't you know, I lost the head gasket the very next day. I've decided that a ticket for expired plates will be cheaper than replacing an engine every damn time I register a vehicle, so I'm gonna run expired tags and tell the great state of Maine's motor vehicle dept to kiss my ass!
Only the wing is still running strong.

You should probably plan for a replacement vehicle in about twenty years or so. Never hurts to plan ahead.
