I have begun the process of restoring a 1982 GL 1100 Aspencade and a number of gauges all quit around the same time ie. The fuel and temp gauge the volt gauge and the radio cb unit have all stopped working not sure if they are all conecter light comes on in the volt gauge but the gauge itself will not register I have found the repair for the 7 volt for the temp and fuel gauges and will soon try that but not sure about the rest does anybody have an idea and thanks for any help you might have

Behind the left turn signal and left pocket,there's a bunch of "calm shell" fuse holders...some even have a extra fuse inside.Use a test probe to see if there passing volts...Same goes for the rest of the fuses...probe the holder,not the end of the fuse...holders corrode.

Agree with Virgin. At this point if it was sitting for a while you never know what may have become corroded or eaten by a critter or two. Electrical sucks just because it's so tedious and time consuming to track everything down.
