installing chrome rotor covers on my 1100

Postby halcombrick » Tue May 12, 2015 1:26 pm

Hey guys I have some chrome rotor covers on the way for my 82. When putting them on do I just slide them over each end of the axle and then put the wheel back on as normal? I know this may br super obvious for some of you but ive never done it.Thanks for the help!

It depends on who made them, and how they are designed to be installed/fastened. They are aftermarket (there are no factory rotor covers), so how they fasten in place is up to whoever designed them.

To install/remove the rotor covers on my 1200i, the front axle must be removed.

Good afternoon halcombrick. I would be interested in knowing where you found these rotor covers, I have been looking for them and have not had any luck. I would also be interested in the installation process. Thanks
