Oil Leak Tachometer cable

Postby Stubbegubb » Wed May 13, 2015 4:31 am

I have a small oil leak on the lower starboard side, looks like it is from the Tachometer cable or fuel pump. The Tachometer cable is defect and I have ordered a replacement, so I plan to tackle this when fixing the cable. Is there any spesial issues I should be aware of before I start operating?

there is an o ring down that hole replace it..you can't pull the cable out w/o removing the top bolt on the tach drive housing, tie the new cable to the old to pull it through to the tach to get the routing correct.
