baffled by the bike

Rode the bike all day and tonight rode over to have coffee with friends, sat for hour and half started right up, drove home stopped local drug store picked couple of things up came out turned key pushed start NOTHING no click nothing have new starter new solenoid battery tested few weeks ago.
left bike there locked up, dark cant see, go in morning and see if i can figure it out

Don't forget a test light,screwdriver,a few wrenches and a couple feet of # 10 wire.

check the stop/run switch :D

battery could have been drained bring a meter..connections on the battery and solenoid, ignition switch could be bad..not making connect you can jump the switch to get it home with a "U" shaped wire,

NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

Good morning
Fixed the problem in the daylight was a loose connection on the solenoid hit the start button fired right up!!!
