I would like to convert all of my lights to LED bulbs. What do I need to do to accomplish this?

I would suggest you go to this sight and check it out. It will be more difficult for the bike as LEDs were not common for bikes back in 82. Hopefully, some other riders will have more info for you.

You will have to replace the mechanical flasher with a electronic flasher for the turn signals to work right ,it is located under the false tank can pick one up at auto store

I have extra led bulbs for the temp/gas gauge, and instrument cluster.

Let me know how many you need and your address in a pm.

If you end up doing this, consider doing a video tutorial or one with pictures. This would make a good mod idea. Update us, this interest me.

Check this out! This may be just what you need for the headlight. They have other items too that could help you. These people are super great to deal with.

I made the conversion for a 82 1100I, purchased thru Superbrite for the bulbs and the flasher unit thru Cyclemax. I did find that if you use the LED for the oil pressure it stays on all the time and is so brite you will not be able to stand it, also the same with the high beam and neutral light. They were to much distraction especially after dark, the instrument and turn signal light were ok. I added many led strips for turn on trunk, side of saddlebags, above the reflector on front fairing (2 rows of amber, one for running and one for turn) turned out the both worked together as running and turn, now twice a bright. removed the lens on front turn and installed amber led strips for running and turn.
Brake light is also red strip led, one set running and one set for brake, and white for license plate light. added amber strip light to mud flap on saddlebags as turn signal. put in led red in saddlebag tail light but made them stay on as running lights.
