which is left and right on 82 rotor covers?

which is left and right on 82 rotor covers?

Hey guys which side is left and right on rotor covers for an 82 wing....one side has the one big opening and the other cover has the opening a little smaller with a smaller notch beside it...any help would be great!

It depends on who made them, I suppose. Rotor covers aren't OEM on the GL1100, they were made by a number of aftermarket suppliers. Perhaps post a picture of them, and someone here could identify them for you and help you out.

I found out...the one with all the openings goes on the speedo side just having trouble getting the axle out...gonna give it a few taps.

Make sure the axle holders are loosened first! The axle should slide relatively easy, but if those axle holders are tight, the axle is not going anywhere.
