82 Aspencade Ignition

Postby leanjoe » Thu Jul 01, 2010 3:51 pm

I've been chasing an intermittant spark. Pulser and spark units checked out good, coils have high resistance readings ., and now have no spark at all.Being in southern nevada,my garage is hot !!! Over 100,I know there is a number to add to readings to compensate for extreme temperatures. Anyone remember what it is ? I'm 2 points over SM limits for resistance on primary and secondary sides of coils.

The only thing in the service manual that I see that has temperature variance for ignition is the pulse generator:

Pulse Generator limits

Pulse Generator Connector Location
