Front caliper bracket issues

Post by robertdawber » Sat Jul 04, 2015 11:50 am

No matter how hard I try-I can't get them from not rubbing. I used the gauge, followed the service manual, etc.
Any advice?

For the time being forget the gauge. Eyeball and center the caliper over the rotors. Equal clearance on both sides. The gauge measurement is just to establish a minimum clearance. A little wider gap won't hurt anything. Also make sure the rotors are not warped.

Go look at the parts breakdown for your bike on

You might be missing something or the previous owner put something in wrong... :?
