Carb kits

Postby Dirty1 » Sun Jul 05, 2015 12:47 pm

Can anyone where to get carb kits for gl1100a on the cheap. I am on a very low budget. My Aspy sat for four years and I got everything working except #4 carb.

Have a look on eBAY item 381309010074

It is listed for around $22 + postage.

I would urge you to check out Randakks Cycle Shack. His stuff ain't cheap but if you are going to pull the carbs and rebuild why not use quality parts that will last? Why do all that work and use less than the best?

For working on carbs, Randakk's is the gold standard, and you will never be sorry. The eBay auction shown is a cheap Chinese kit being sold by Saber Cycle, one of the worst vendors of aftermarket parts for Goldwings, both in terms of product quality and (worse than nonexistant) customer service.

Sorry for the bum steer. I did not realise the ad was for Saber, otherwise I would not have even considered it.

Randakks are best, but I got away with just buying stuff from here:

I only fixed the broken stuff - a few years ago, now :)
