I FOUND GAS IN MY VALVE COVERS, WHICH MEAN I ALSO HAVE GAS IN MY OIL. DOES THIS MEAN MY CARBS ARE LEAKING? DO I NEED TO HAVE CARBS REBUILT? EVEN WITH THE GAS CUT OFF TURNED TO OFF, I'M STILL GETTING A LEAK.

Its a really good habit to turn off the petcock every time you shut off. Anyway,If you always do that and you still have fuel in the cyls. then you're petcock needs rebuilt. If you just happened to leave it on accidentally,pull the plugs and crank the starter to clear the cyls. then change the oil.

Sounds like floats need to be adjusted. I had the same problem but the fuel only accumulated in the left valve cover when it was on it's side stand. When I rebuilt the carbs and adjusted the floats the problem went away.
