LED question

Postby speedy04 » Wed Jul 29, 2015 11:26 am

I'm in the process of changing over all of my lights to LEDs and am very happy with the results. How ever my oil pressure light now stays on. I thought I had seen a post about this, but I cannot find it. I am wondering in if anyone else has had this problem, and if there is a fix or do I just need to reinstall the standard #57 bulb? It wouldn't be the end of the world as I have two other lights that I cannot switch to LED's out of the 20+ extra lights that I have one the bike. One last question for those of you who have done it, how happy are you with replacing the faring reflectors with LED's? I've been playing with this idea since I started the switch over to LED's.

It's possible there is carbon buildup on the switch that is conducting enough current to light an LED, but not to light an incandescent bulb.
