Headlight Low Beam Failure

Postby mytown » Sat Aug 01, 2015 10:56 pm

The low beam on my headlight stopped working. The high beam works fine. All the other lights work, no other electrical problems. It's a 1982 GL1100 Interstate with a Honda fairing. Could be just a coincidence, but I had been riding with just the high beam for a few days. When I switched back today, no low beam. Just looking for some ideas before I go poking around and/or tearing things apart.

Sounds about right. The manual covers bulb replacement, but I was having problems figuring out how to remove the headlight from the fairing. This post covers it quite well. Thanks.
