WHAT PITCH SCREWS FOR THE CARBURETORS

Postby auctioneeral » Sun Aug 09, 2015 9:49 am

What size pitch are the screws for the carburetors. Like float bowl screws. I want to buy all new stainless steel screws for the carbs since I'm rebuilding the carbs. Going to replace all the screws. I have looked up the screw size and length but not the pitch.
thanks

I don't remember the pitch but when I had my carbs off I went to our local True Value hardware and they had a "checker" thingy next to the drawers with the screws and nuts.....you could check the nuts or screws that you had and get the numbers to cross reference them. I replaced everything with shiny new allen head screws.
