HELP REBUILD FRONT MASTER CYLINDER

Postby auctioneeral » Mon Aug 10, 2015 2:10 pm

oK i GOT MY REBUILD KIT k & l 32-1102. Now by looking at the how to section on the front master cylinder. The rubber pc. as to go on the piston shaft pass that big lid. That looks like its not going over that big of a diameter pc.
The spring I have as a closed end on one end of spring which is alot smaller in diameter then the other end of spring which is about the same diameter as the rubber cap seal.

#1 which end of spring gets the rubber cap?
#2 The rubber pc. going over the piston. Does it go on pass the big diameter pc. on piston in the grove like area.
Also were does the flat washer go.

OK I got it together. By matching it up to the old one.
BUT number one question now is the how to shows 2 holes in the reserovir tank. one is a return and another main feed hole. By picture here my only as the 2 holes but one hole is not all the way thru. By me looking at picture and enlarging picture I see a real small hole is that the return hole.

Ok another quick question. Got mastercylinder all together. Brake handle bolted on. Now if I fill reserovir tank and squeeze handle SHOULD brake fluid come out the brake hose connector on mastercylinder. I DO NOT have brake hose connected to mastercylinder and figured I leave it off to get the fluid running to the connecting but I have no fluid at the hose connector.

I got it. I have good front brakes now. Went for a ride and bike dried on side of road. After 20-30 minutes I was able to get it to run some what to get it home. Getting tried of it.
