new 7 volt regulator from u today

ok got my new 7 volt regulator from u guys today so got my old one out the wires on old reg are green black with brown and green the one u sent is green black and a red colors dont match now what

ok i hooked up the wires to the wire ends that the regulator fit to see what happens PRAYING THERE RITE :D

WELL temp works gas no nuetral and oil lite no think im going to put it back together like that and ride it next year i will get my other wing back from my son and have another bike to use for parts he is buying himself a new bike im hoping next year i can save and buy a newer model wing myself and not have all this bull crap to mess with i just want to ride :lol:

You got it. The regulator for the GL1100 has three different connectors, and you can't hook it up wrong. Just plug the connectors in like the old one was plugged in and you're good to go.

The netural and oil light are not part of the 7 volt regulator. If your temperature gauge is now working, then the regulator is working right. Now you see the fuel is not showing, which means you've likely got something going on with your fuel level sender.

ok got it all back together and everything is now working great thank you was nice to get out in the wind today hoping to do a little more riding later thanks again :lol:

Installed the 7 volt kit myself it took a bit more time as had to get by all the stuff up front but the guages work alot smoother and more responsive now. Thanks Allan

I SURE WISH MINE DID STILL NOT WORKING AFTER CHANGING OUT 7VOLT AND OTHER REGULATOR NOT SURE IF I GOT A FAULTY ONE OR WHATS UP BUT FAN DOES COME ON WHEN TEMP REACHED GAS I KEEP FULL AND WHEN I HIT 150 MILES I FILL IT UP AGAIN TIRED OF MESSING WITH IT
