Plastic lower fairing repair ??

Postby velvetrider » Sat Oct 03, 2015 10:38 am

I am fixing everything that is wrong with my baby, Blkvelvet, New Head gaskets, timing belts, carbs. rebuild. Spit shine, polish, paint. Now the front lower fairing bolt tabs are broken. The tabs need to be epoxied back on. However experience has taught me that this simply will not work. Too brittle and too much vibration. Anybody got ideas on a repair. ???
You guys are really great to help me.
Thnks.
