82 Aspencade

Postby leanjoe » Sat Jul 17, 2010 9:40 am

I picked up this bike a few weeks ago and have been making progress. It will start and run,I just cant get the rich symptom out of it. I have had the carbs off 4 times, cleaned ,re-set floats, replaced needles and seats and still, fires right up but, lots of unburnt fuel. New coils ,wires, caps,(it sat for awhile outside) all cycls. firing,a shot of water on each header gets an immediate boil off. I do have to get another synch. gauge, all the mercury is gone from mine after we moved to new house. I am pulling my hair out,why cant I get this over rich out ???
