'82 Aspy turn signals & stereo presets

Turn signals only flash when they want to...hit and miss.
Stereo presets won't keep (fuse is good)

If you hit the clock button (I think) when your key is off does the display lite up with the time? I think that would confirm power to the radio when the key is off to retain memory for the presets.

For the turn signals check for good ground, cleaning contacts on switch and connectors or could be flasher itself. For the stereo presets check this link.

Thanks guys. Figured it's likely flasher. I did add additional ground from main fuse block to neg. battery terminal just for the heck of it. Hope that's kosher.
Didn't know about the "clock" button with key off. Must try. Also left turn cancels by itself while sitting still. Stays on if I turn bars a bit to the left. Wowsers! :o
Thanks for the help. Now looking for post I can help with :)

You officially have an electrical gremlin. I'd start checking wiring into the front fairing. Something might be rubbed through or you have a bad ground from the fairing. The magic that is a Goldwing turn signal cancelation system has many parts. I'd start looking for bad grounds, corrosion, and bare wires... good luck.
