My 81 GL1100 sat since Aug of 14 while I went through Radiation/Chemo Therapy for Cancer. now I have no spark, ran great before the illness took hold. Where should i start to trace down the PROBLEM?

I would start by cleaning all the connections from battery termials and connector's right up to key switch. Did you check fuse.

Check the voltage at the battery also (if you haven't yet). And this next part isn't meant to insult you... I ask because I've done it... as I'm sure others here have. Check to make sure you didn't turn the kill switch to "OFF". And along the same line... Is your fuel turned on? Again I've done both and wondered what was wrong with the Wing... only to put my face in my palm and shake my head.
My wife is the greatest - she won't let me sell my bike - I'm less grumpy when I ride...

Yeah went through all that checked all, I have plenty of extra electric parts and have been changing them out little by little.
