oil leak !

I've noticed an oil residue on rear left of engine
any ideas on where it's coming from and how to fix it .thank you

Oil can easily migrate when riding, masking the original source. I would use a solvent (brake cleaner is my favorite) to clean the oil and grime off the engine, then dust it lightly with some talcum powder. Wherever the oil is seeping from will become readily apparent once it is run, as it will stain the talcum powder.
