Battery

Good Morning Wingers,
My dilemma today is a battery for a 1983 DW Aspencade, batteries are a dime a dozen however I am looking for come guidance as I do not with to buy one yearly.

Suggestions are appreciated.

My suggestion would be an AGM style battery. There are many manufacturers that supply them. Then keep it on a maintainer like the Deltran Battery Tender. Should last for many years.

I have two suggestions:

One, buy an AGM battery rather than a standard wet-cell battery.
Two, buy a Battery Tender and plug it into the bike whenever the bike is parked.

Doing this, you should have a battery that will last at the very minimum 5 years.

Looks like dingdong beat me to the answer. But it turns out we both answered with the exact same recommendations, so I guess I can't be too upset. :)

I have a tender so ahead of the game, need to get a non wet cell .. thanks!
