Rusted exzaust

Was wondering if it would be okay to replace my rusted out exzaust with strait pipe old owner cut rusted pipes off at weld joint was thinking about doing strait then wrapping with heat tape

Ye, you can do that won't effect much except the sound.
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

If you're going to ride it on the street, I think you may find that it's waaaaaay to loud with straight pipes.
My exercise bike is a goldwing.
