Postby halcombrick » Sun Dec 27, 2015 11:07 pm

I just put a 150mph speedo on my 82. When I took my 82 speedo out it had some weird flat thing bolted to the back and 3 wires coming out,,the 83 only has the 2 wires,,what are this wires for and what was the flat thing on my 82,, I know I don't need them,,just curious,,thanks guys.

The two wires (green and white/black) are the speed sensor used to feed the turn signal canceler.

The three wires (pink, green and black/brown) are for a speed sensor for the rear air pressure sensor warning unit.
