Just when I think she is running great, I go to the store on the way the bike dies out, I am going down hill so still in gear try popping the clutch she don;t start, pull over can't get bike into neutral, so I hold in clutch get it going make it to the store, come out still can't get bike into neutral, never happened before, get bike going again by holding in clutch wrong gear bike is lagging so find first ride back to the house in first gear not far away.
Any suggestions to what happened seems like an expensive fix.
Thanks you guys are the experts.

Check the clutch cable - has it stretched, frayed or broken at either end? If the clutch isn't pulling out all the way, it will make it very difficult to get into neutral.
