Coolant Leak!

Postby VentedGibbon » Thu Mar 03, 2016 2:30 pm

Help! I don't see a drip, I don't see steam, nothing? This picture is on the right side of the bike. Pardon the condition of the aluminum.

Do or do not, there is no try.

Is it happening only when the bike is running? Or do you come out and find coolant there?

More often than not, coolant on top of the engine is caused by leaky O-rings on the coolant crossover tubes. They leak, and drip down onto the engine, where it collects.

Only after the bike has ran. It usually shows up after a ride. I'll clean it up and it won't leak like this on its own.

I hadn't considered that. I will check as soon as I get some wrench time, thank you!
