wiring harness

Got an 1983 1100 interstate goldwing want to replace wireing harness want to do new but can I buy a use one and do the same as a new one I see them on eBay but don't want to buy a junk one if can't find a new one anyone know where I can get new one

I doubt you will find a "New" wiring harness for sale anyplace. As you well know, these bikes are over 30 years old, "New Old Stock" parts are becoming increasingly more difficult to find.
You may get lucky and find one on e-bay if you are patient and tenacious, but i would not hold my breath.
In most cases, a good used harness will do the job. Just be careful and look the harness over carefully for cut wires or missing connectors. Look it over for bare wires or places in the harness that have rubbed through.

What he said, a used harness will be your best bet. I know we had one user who carefully unwound an entire harness, made his own jig, and built a new wiring harness from scratch. But unless you have the time, patience and funds to do this, you're better off finding a decent used one online.
