81-82 Interstate rotors

Postby dnehasert » Mon Aug 02, 2010 8:11 pm

Are the '81 front interstate brake rotors the same as the '82 Interstate rotors? These are the iron rotors, thinner than the Apencade rotors. I now have all 3 Apencade rotors for my '82, but they do not fit the Interstate as the slot in the calipers are too narrow to fit Aspencade rotors. Doug

from 80-83 Honda manual.
front- 4.8-5.2mm standard and Interstate
front-9.9-10.1mm Aspencade

It shows 80 and 81 have singe caliper and 82-83 have duals
80 and 81 have same boltup system for caliper but 82 has different and 83 another type.
The rotors should all interchange on the wheels.
hope this helps.
