Interstate and Aspencade

Could anyone tell me the main difference between the first versions of the Interstate and the Aspencade. All I know is that the Aspencade was suppose to be more luxurious. If so, in what way? Visually, they seem identical. Much thanks, Bruce

The Aspincade in 82 had different brakes (all three were vented rotors and are rarer then hens teeth), it also had on board air compressor (although I'm almost positive you could get it on an interstate) and the Radio's I think were different. Mine had a clarion II with tape deck, and CB. I'm not sure if the CB was an option or it came with it already. Paint schemes were different. Interstates were one color, Aspincades were two tone. The seat was also different, and it had storage pouches on the outside of the trunk on either side of the back rest.

The '83 Aspincade had a LCD instrument cluster.
