Anybody got an idea for a good voltage meter for the '83 interstate. Plus how to hook it up.

Thanks

I took one from a 79, drilled a hole in the lower left side fairing and installed..one lead to any hot line the other ground..the closer to the battery the more accurate the reading..a direct hook up is the best..through accessory fuse..but any hot lead will do. Then check volts at battery with meter and check your gauge..note the difference..that's what you add mentally when you look at the gauge..I ad 1.5 volts.

Any gauge will work from parts store..
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

FAIR WINDS,
