Today I picked up a project bike for my son and I: a 1982 GL1100 Interstate! It's been sitting for the last four years so, I'm sure I'll have lots of need for the wonderful articles and input from all you wonderful fellow Wing-thusiasts. Other than a need for exhaust, and to get either a new ignition (or a reverse engineered key) everything is there. She is currently in pieces but, for a whopping $350, we can't complain! You read that right - we paid $350 for the whole lot! I'll attach a pic of my son (who is 15) surveying our father-son project. And I'll keep adding as we go along.
It's a nice addition to the stable...she will look nice next to my '81 GL1100!
