New GoldWing Owner

Postby JStanuszek » Wed Jun 01, 2016 9:24 am

Good day!

My name is James Stanuszek and I am now an owner of an 83' GL1100 Interstate. I upgraded my ride from a 82' CB650 SC Nighthawk. So far my wife and I are enjoying the features of our new (used) Goldwing.

Being bought used lent to an extend period of servicing to get her road worthy. The bike, unfortunately, spent to many months not being ridden which led to a myriad number of issues to deal with.

Aside from a lingering issue here and there, she is sound and handling nicely.

I look forward to many enjoyable miles with my wife as we travel about with her and experience the unique experience that comes with being a Goldwing owner and rider.

Best regards,

James "Cephas" Stanuszek

Picture or Pictures of the bike!!!

Congratulations on your Goldwing GL1100 resurrection, be blessed with many safe, fun, and interesting miles of touring with your wife.

Great bike, wonderful way to start out your Goldwing ownership-The 1983 wing was/and is the highpoint of the evolution of the 1100. Anti-dive forks and linked braking make it top of woodpile from 1980-2 production years.

I've had an interstate, and now an aspencade. Great bikes, they handle well and plenty of power to deal with situations on the road.

Thanks for sharing.
