rember to not only check that the fuses are good but that they have power. whenever i check a fuse panel i use a
volt meter and check each end of the fuse too ground, this tells me if the fuse is good and that i have full voltage to
the fuse in and out.

i have been a mechanic for about 30 years and have found many loose or bad connections on the back side of a
fuse panel. also a fuse of the glass tube design can pop at one end and get intermitent contact. enough to check as good
but not enough to get sufficent voltage and amps to power anything.

Now that you mention it - I have also had glass fuses that looked and tested good with a meter, but had dried out and failed inside so that with any heat or vibration, they would open up. Hard to find, because when you shut down and tested the fuse, it tested good once again.

Ya know, there are also in line fuses inside the fairing, independant of the fuse box.. you did say your dash panel has gone dead too.
