Rear Brake Rotor

Postby romanfj » Sun Jun 19, 2016 9:22 am

Hi,

I'm brand new to the list and to Goldwings. Bought a GL 1100 Interstate and can't seem to find anyone who sells new rear brake rotors. I have the entire back half of the bike apart and everything except the rotor. Any good sources other than used on ebay??

Thanks,
Frank

Hi again,

Perhaps the better question might be: If I have the existing rotor turned, what is the minimum acceptable thickness?

Thanks,
Frank

new rotors for these older wings are VERY hard to come by and are VERY expensive. here's one i found on eBay...........http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=19 ... r&_sacat=0 if your gonna get new, might as well be a good one.

stuart.

Thanks, guys. I guess I'll be biting the bullet and buying a new rotor. At least I know it should last quite a while.
