valve train to head question

Postby robertdawber » Sun Jun 26, 2016 4:26 pm

The manual calls for (I read this too, not sure where...maybe over at Randakk's site?) a "sealant" between the head and valve train. Anyone know what this product is?

I assume you are asking about a sealant around the oil seals at each end of the heads. I used Permatex red RTV high temp sealant. Probably don't need the red but that is what I had on hand. Just make sure you use it sparingly and clean off any excess.
