front forks.

The bad news. Having the leaking seals replaced I noticed the fork tubes are scored .I don't think they are repairable. (Or they may be with a lot of work). Also possibly need to replace the upper and lower fork bushes. Total cost £160 for new fork tubes £50 for upper and lower bushes not including v.a.t . The good news I found a complete pair of forks from a 81 wing with progressive springs fitted and its in the UK should be here by end of this week .That's a result :-) :-) cost £90 inc postage

Hi Squirrel,

I was going to suggest sending your damaged tubes to Philpot's, in Luton, but looks like you've bagged a good deal on those replacements.
