New windshield issue

Postby processing » Mon Jul 11, 2016 11:33 pm

Hello everyone
a small question. Installed "new" homemade windshield. See the pic. It creates toom much of a wing effect and sucks exhaust fumes into my face :( I bothers me mainly if I drive farther...) Thinking about making a vent right above the dashboard with close open lid....
Any idea? Anyone has the same experience?
Thanks

Peter

I agree, adding a vent (to equalize pressure) will definitely help. I put one on my 1100, the GL1800 vent fit it quite well.

I second the vent. I modified an 1800 windscreen and its great. Alos, you may want to look at some "wings". I have Air Wings and they change really help change the airflow patterns.

My wife is the greatest - she won't let me sell my bike - I'm less grumpy when I ride...
