Fuel Filter Location

Postby str8edge » Sun Jul 24, 2016 2:31 pm

Hi!

I'm about to change my fuel filter and fuel lines....
I noticed the awkward location of the fuel filter, and was wondering why it's in that exact spot.
This is a pressurized system, so couldn't the fuel filter be moved to a different location on the line?
Say closer to the fuel pump or the petcock for access purposes?

Put it anywhere you want along that fuel line. That just provides a place to hard mount it.

Thanks for the response. Currently moved the filter about an inch off the fuel pump. Seems ok so far!
