does anyone know where i can download a free copy of how to replace clutch plates in my gold wing gl1100?

You going to try it with the engine in frame ? PITA ! It can be done but,its not too hard to yank the engine and save yourself a lot of grief. If you go on NGWclub.com,there are tutorials on changing clutch plates with engine in frame.Its for a 1000 but its the same. Otherwise, remove swingarm and work around the frame cross member another PITA. I'd pull it.

Pull engine, remove clutch cover, take off adjusting nut, pull adjuster out don't lose the little bearing, remove clutch plate, back off clutch nuts evenly or you'll break something, pull plates out..or go to NGW for full instructions with pics.
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE
