proportioning valve on a 83

my proportioning valve is bad on my 83 gl1100 but I do not know where it is! do any one know where it is? my rear brakes locks on me and I can not breed my front brake.

On the right side behind the cover, in front of the rear master. But it more likely your return hole in the master is plugged up..and it can be cleaned out..there are two holes in the base one is REALLY small hard to see that's the one that gets plugged up. won't allow fluid back into the master so brakes lock up.

THANK YOU ! I CLEAN THE REAR MASTER ONCE I WILL CLEAN IT AGAIN. IF IT IS NOT THE REAR MASTER WHAT IS MY PROBLEM.

That small hole is hard to see and hard to clean..make sure it's open..any blockage in the system at claipers or in a line could cause issues..not bleeding and locking may not be related. By not bleeing what do youi mean..no fluid out the bleeder when released or it bleeds but no improvement in brake lever??

No fluid at all comes out of the right front caliper when I bleed the brakes. I do the front first then the rear I get fluid from the rear not the front.

The bleeder maybe blocked that it out and clean it out or replace???

That small hole witch is hard to clean is it inside or outside the master?
