:?: Pulled motor and found one of starter clutch springs was broke. Replaced all springs/caps/rollers .Reinstalled motor ,started bike and starter still will not disengage . NEED HELP.I READ repair book and check rubber dampers on back of alternator shaft .Now I will pull motor again to check if these parts are bad.

What you're saying is that the starter motor continues to run all the time, even if the key is off?? Did you have to disconnect the battery cable to make it quit??

That almost HAS to be the starter solenoid being stuck. Time for a new one or a good used one.

Or are you saying that the engine starts and keeps spinning the starter as it does, even though the starter is no longer energized?

Yes ,with wire off you can hear that the starter is still engaged.
