vacumn hose routing

Postby sabrewinger » Sat Aug 15, 2009 9:48 am

Greetings to all. New to the forum and also a new owner of a 1980 GL1100. My first Wing was a 75. Back to the 80...I picked this jewel up from a gentleman who had performed some previous maintenance on the carbs and got in over his head gave up and let it set for a year or more. I picked it up pretty much as a basket case and removed and cleaned the carbs, installed new o-rings and seals and now have them back on the bike. Does anyone have an idea as to the routing of the vacumn lines? I have one line coming from the vacumn advance to the #3 carb with a Tee in the middle and another line from the Tee to ? Any help would be appreciated.

My 82 goes straight from advance to number 3 carb with not tee.........

been like that since I have had her, about 9 years now. sorry for the 'no help" answer.
you can go exactly .4 miles with the petcock turned off.
