Air Pressure sensor switch

Post by wavedancer » Sat Oct 02, 2010 9:03 am

My red light for my air pressure switch comes on at 40 km and stays on till I shut the bike off but I have no pressure switch. There is a wire there but no switch. Should I put in a switch or how do I shut the light off? I was told to ground the wire and it would go out. Is it not live? Will it not short out over 40 km? can someone help me? This is on a 82 Interstate. Thanks Tom

That's odd - is it possible the wind is just grounding it out at 40 km?
