Fairly new to the Wing society ! Just acquired a 81 that was been sitting for 8 years , pulled the carbs and cleaned them . Can anybody tell me what the normal low speed idle jet setting should be ?

The book says 1 1/4 turn out for a starting point.To be adjusted per idle down method after sync.
Do bench test the carbs..especially the slide action with a shop vac.
Do test for fuel leaks and amount in the carbs.They need to have the same fuel level.
Do sync them at 1000 rpm then idle back when finished.

Thanks a bunch for the info ! I've done carbs on some of the old Honda's and most are 1- 1/4 to 1-1/2 , but it's always comforting to hear it from someone in the know !
