Black button

Postby saltydawg1967 » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:24 pm

I have had to pull the seat, saddlebags, and trunk off of a friends 1982 Goldwing to replace rear rotor and caliper. I found a stretch of wire with a black button on it that connects to a connector under the seat. I do not recall seeing this when I disassembled the components. Anyone know what this black button is and where it goes? I'm at a loss.

UPDATE: I did find the bracket that it fits on to. It goes on the rear trunk stay (Bracket) Anyone know exactly what it is and where to place it on the stay?

It's a passenger transmit button for the CB, to allow them to talk on the CB. You can put it anywhere really that you think it will fit and be accessible by the passenger.
