Looking to replace a H/T shifter

Post by terryautwell » Fri Oct 20, 2017 11:23 pm

Hi all, i'm new here but thought i would ask a question. I traded an old camaro i had that didnt run for an 83 Aspy and i'm bringing it back to life. Finally got it back on the road, except my front left brake but thats for another time lol. my question is, on my last bike, an 85 honda shadow VT 700 the shifter was a peg style? and i would much rather have that style than the OEM H/T that this bike has, does anyone have any recommendations as to what would work with this bike? i've been trying to look online but not really sure what exactly to look for. also, its getting hard to shift into Neutral and 2nd, 2st and third and fourth and OD are fine. Well Any help would be much appreciated.

First off, what you have is aftermarket. Honda never made any motorcycle with a heel-toe shifter to my (slightly uncertain) knowledge.
You probably have floorboards on that bike, too. They are also aftermarket.
You probably need the pegs and the shifter, possibly the brake pedal as well.
Pics help tell a story, why not post a couple of both sides??

And I probably have the parts...
