I did do the Valves Clearance and after completing that process I move onto the Sync, that's when the Knocking went away, but the next day when I started the GL1100i, knocking again.

It took me two times to adjust the valves, it’s an art to get that slight drag feel on the feeler gauge. Double check everything before you button it all back up. Your doing all the valve adjustments while the bike is dead cold?

Thanks for encouragement. The GL1100i was off for twenty four hours before setting the clearance on the Valves. The clearance setting went well, almost like someone had set them prior. The intake and exhaust setting seem to be okay to me.

Barracuda3077, when I was doing the testing of the Valves, I had to slightly tilt the feeler gage in order to fit it in and than slide it all the way back and forth. I will recheck the Valves again to be sure.

Everyone have a Bless Time giving Thanks today Thanksgiving Day, I just want to say thanks to all of you who are and will be giving me advice through this process.

I know what was going on with my carburetor sync, the bolt on the number four manifold broke off in the block, but I was able to get it out then I realize I skipped the step when I was doing the second part of the Carbs Sync, the intake and exhaust Clarence I don't rotate the motor 360°. I'm redoing the process on Monday

Hate to say it but the new "high-sounding tapping noise" is probably valve adjustment not done correctly.

Go to Harbor Freight and pick up one of those automotive stethoscopes, I think they are like 9 bucks, and it might help you to determine exactly where these noises are coming from....
They say 98% of all Hardleys ever made are still on the road..... The other 2% made it home.
(I stole this from somebody on another GW site...)

Thanks denverwinger, I took off the valves cover and one of the adjuster nut was lying in the cover and I remember now that I was side track by a important phone call on the last step, so much I did not recheck all the nut reinsuring I had finish. Now I'm going to redo them right now.

so I redid the valve adjustment because the net fell off of valve number 3 and I also redid the carburetor sync perfect all the intake are at 0004 and all the exhaust are at 0005 I put all the valve cover gasket back on did my sync and the left side to the right side and they're all are perfect perfect perfect put everything back together and I still have a engine knocking noise, but the knocking is loud and than low to gone. Any ideas? I think im just going to have to live with it.

Update on the Carburetor, I took the GL 1100i to the Shop (WingNut) Fairfield Ca for advise, I found another Man of wisdom when it comes to Goldwings. I started the GL 1100i and with in five seconds top, he turn off the Motorcycle and told me that two of the four Carbs where not working correctly because the Jets were clogged up. Took it back home disassemble the Carbs and went through each Jet and Don was correct two of the four were clogged, after cleaning them and reassembling it, start the GL 1100i no more knocking. :D :D :D

Now the sad part, I turn the brass screw during the cleaning because I though they were Jets under the float (Pilot Screw)

and did not know what I was doing I thought they were Jets in case you miss it the first time. Now the idol is randomly going from high to low, so any ideals on what to do in order to correct this.

turn the pilot screw in until it seats lightly(if you turn it too far you can break the tip off) then back it out 2 turns..run the bike keep adjusting until it runs even at idle..you might want to unscrew it all teh way to make sure it not already broken first???
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83

I did more research and found that the throttle cables were sticking on the release and never fully returned to close, once I figure that out I just adjusted the Cable and now the idol issues has been corrected.
