Anyone recognize this floating rear disc??

Post by jeffcosmo » Tue Nov 28, 2017 2:03 pm

I took this off of one of my parts bikes. Looks the business, but who made it??
1983 Aspy.
Thanks, Cosmo
P.S. It's now on my main ride. Should make for better stopping.

That's an EBC Pro-Lite brake rotor made by EBC Brakes. It is their part number MD1082 for an 1983 GL1100. It's a pretty expensive part at just over $200.

Cool. Not the first time I have found cool stuff on parts bikes. This is one of the best, however.

Going to give it a test on the Chicago Toys for Tots run, Sunday.

I know I'm late to the party here, but... I have these EBC rotors on both of my 83 Wings, far better than the stock rotor...

I agree. Much better stopping on the run.
